This is Futbol have rounded up the best tweets from a section of Rangers supports on Herrera’s exit: Thank God Eduardo Herrera has left rangers ???????? — Robert #letsgo (@rangerslad1983) July 16, 2018 Shows just how bad some of the signings we’ve made in recent times have been. We only seem to have exits via loans or termination of contract. Farewell Herrera. Wonder if we are paying part of the wage — Cheryl (@gers_chick) July 16, 2018 OPINION Rangers fans have a right to be happy with Herrera’s departure, he was simply not good enough for the club. The only frustration that remains is that he’s departing on loan and not permanently. The club now need to press on with their transfer business and bring in some quality additions to the forward line before the end of the transfer window. The recent signing of Umar Sadiq from Roma is a great piece of business but more needs to be done as Gerrard can’t rely on a 21-year-old, as talented as he may be, to score the goals for him all season. They need to focus on bringing an experienced striker in who can bring some know-how and goals to the side.
