Loads of Rangers fans have been reacting to the latest transfer news, as Steven Gerrard has finally made his move for a proven goalscorer. Gerrard’s start to life at Ibrox has all been pretty positive so far. The new boss has already brought some exciting young signings in, and the Gers have yet to concede a goal across three competitive games. Most fans would agree he is still lacking a proper number nine though, and it looks like former fan favourite Kyle Laffery could be that man. Alfredo Morelos got the goal his hard work deserves last week, scoring the winner for Gerrard’s side in the Europa League win in Croatia, but that hasn’t stopped the move fans have been so desperate for. According to BBC, the Gers have had a £200,00 bid rejected for Lafferty, who scored 31 league goals during his last stint with the club. The 30 year-old scored 12 league goals in 35 outings for Hearts last season, and would be good competition for Morelos up front.
