Kent will attempt to kick start his career in Scotland following two indifferent spells with Freiburg in Germany and Bristol City last season. Gers boss Gerrard knows Kent’s potential from his time at Liverpool and has persuaded his old club that he will use him properly in this campaign. The faltering attacking form of the Light Blues in European games has made Gerrard more determined to land Kent and he plans to use him as a first team starter. Liverpool insist on their young loan players featuring for their new sides or cash penalties are imposed – with Bristol City having to find around £500,000 in penalties. During his stint with the Robins Kent only made 10 appearances. More to follow.
