Steven Gerrard has settled into management life very well, as his Rangers side are yet to taste defeat under his leadership. Sunday saw the Gers see off Kilmarnock at Rugby Park in the League Cup, securing a 3-1 victory and extending their unbeaten run across all competitions to nine games. Alfredo Morelos was the man of the moment as he netted a stunning hat-trick to seal Rangers’ spot in the quarter-finals, which provided the latest chapter in what is proving to be a rather frantic saga for the Colombia ace. The BBC stated last week that Rangers rejected a £3.75m bid for the 22-year-old and his performances will have certainly raised the player’s price-tag – although Gerrard will be desperate not to lose the talented South American who has already scored six goals this season.
