LIVINGSTON have now confirmed that Kenny Miller’s short tenure as player-manager is OVER. SunSport Online exclusively revealed last night that the former Rangers star had quit the Premiership new boys after just seven weeks in charge. In a statement on their website, they said: “Livingston Football Club has been in discussions over the weekend with Kenny Miller and his representatives. “The club felt that the player-manager role wasn’t working and had requested that Kenny reverted to the full-time manager’s role. “Kenny however feels that he isn’t ready to give up his football career at this time. Miller speaks to the mediaLes Gallagher - The Sun Glasgow “As a result the club and Kenny have amicably agreed to part company. “Livingston Football Club would like to thank Kenny for his honesty and openness, and wish him well for the future.” The 38-year-old only took on the role of player-manager at the club earlier this summer after David Hopkin left the Toni Macaroni Arena. And he brought in several new signings as he guided Livingston through the Betfred Cup group stage. Miller then played in the side’s opening two league games against Celtic.
