
RANGERS have today appealed Alfredo Morelos’ Pittodrie red card. The Colombian striker was controversially sent off in Sunday’s clash with Aberdeen. Alfredo Morelos was sent off against AberdeenWillie Vass Morelos kicked out at Dons defender Scott McKenna after being barged off-the-ball by the Scotland star. The incident was spotted by linesman David McGeachie who instructed referee Kevin Clancy to dismiss the frontman. But Gers believe the punishment dished out to Morelos was too severe. Gers boss Steven Gerrard believes the fact his hitman was provoked should be taken into consideration.
