SHREWSBURY are targeting Rangers ace Greg Docherty on loan, according to reports. SunSport revealed last month that Jack Ross was hoping to bring the midfielder to Sunderland on loan. According to The Herald, boss John Askey could make a loan move for Docherty before the end of the transfer window. Docherty only signed for Rangers in January but has dropped out of Steven Gerrard’s immediate plans. The Ibrox boss wants the midfielder playing this term so is ready to send him to England for experience.
