FC UFA have been told they must beat Steven Gerrard’s Rangers for the honour of Bashkortostan by the region’s Prime Minister. Rangers face the Russian dark horses this week in the play-off round for the Europa League Group Stages. Steven Gerrard is preparing his team to face UfaPA:Press Association Ufa are in their first European campaign and have been sidetracked by trying to gain the necessary visa credentials to visit the UK. But the Prime Minister of Bashkortostan, Rustem Mardanov, has reminded Ufa’s players and their supporters that the eyes of the world will be on them when Gerrard takes his team to Russia.
