'You tick all the boxes' - These Rangers fans tell 27-year-old winger to join Lafferty at Ibrox

Rangers have been extremely active in the transfer market under the guidance of Steven Gerrard, as the Liverpool legend looks to maintain his side’s thrilling start to the season. Kyle Lafferty became the 12th player to join Gerrard in Glasgow this summer after returning to the club from SPL rivals Hearts in order to provide depth to the attack – just in time for Thursday’s Europa League playoff showdown with FC Ufa. The 32-year-old returns to the club he left in 2012 following Rangers’ tumble down the Scottish football pyramid after their financial woes and his return to Ibrox has courted plenty of attention across the game. Leeds United ace Stuart Dallas was among those to congratulate his compatriot on a transfer and some Rangers fans cheekily used his social media message as an opportunity to ask the 27-year-old winger if he fancies joining Lafferty at the club. Marcelo Bielsa is extremely unlikely to approve an exit for Dallas, despite his only appearance this season being a 14-minute cameo against Stoke City on the opening weekend, but Rangers fans feel it is worth a punt.
