Get the deal done – 86% of polled fans want Rangers to sign up 23-year-old

Rangers fans are massively in favour of signing Millwall defender Jake Cooper this summer after the club made a firm offer for the player last week, according to reports. Outlets like The Daily Record reported last Tuesday that the Ibrox side had tabled a bid of around £3m for the player after he impressed in the English Championship last term. The 23-year-old was a regular for the Lions, making 42 appearances in all competitions and helping them to an eighth placed finish in the table, just three points shy of the play-off positions. Millwall had the fourth best defensive record in the division, something that Cooper clearly contributed to massively as a centre-back. Rangers are in need of defensive reinforcement after Bruno Alves and David Bates left the club, with Fabio Cardoso also on the verge of an exit. Fans are certainly keen to see him arrive in Glasgow, with 86% of respondents to a poll we published last week believing that the club should sign him this summer. Can the club now get the deal over the line this week? You can see the full results below…
