
JASON HOLT is refusing to give up on his Rangers career despite joining Fleetwood Town on loan. The midfielder was allowed to leave Ibrox by new boss Steven Gerrard after being told he wasn’t part of his first-team plans. We had a face-to-face chat and I was aware he was going to strengthen the squad. He told me that I probably wouldn’t play as regularly as I wanted. “So I think it was the right decision to join a club where I’m going to have a big role. Gerrard didn’t shove me out of the door. But it was a decision I felt I just had to make. “I’ll look back on my time at Rangers and know I never let anyone down.
